The closing ceremony of the project "Extending the regional brand in the Racha and Guria regions"

The closing ceremony of the project "Extending the regional brand in the Racha and Guria regions", implemented with the financial assistance of the International Visegrad Fund, took place on February 27, 2024 in Kutaisi, Georgia. 🎉

The conference was officially opened by Mr. Zviad Shalamberidze, the governor of the Imereti region. He welcomed everyone and expressed his enthusiasm and support for the project and its outputs. He would also like to have the Imereti regional brand. The speech and his support wasalso presented by Mr. Matúš Bušovský, the ambassador of the Slovak Republic and Mr.Przemyslaw on behalf of the Embassy of Poland in Georgia.

The culmination of the final conference agenda was the official introduction of new representatives of the Regional Brand Guria – “Home of Life” and Racha-Lechkhumi-Lower Svaneti Regional Brand –“Meet us in Kokheti Mountain” and the presentation of certificates.

At the conference, the Association of Regional Brands of Georgia, established within the framework of the project, was presented. The guests of the conference had the opportunity to get acquainted with the role, functions and website (https://www.georgianuniques.ge/) of the association, the association was created to support the existing regional brands and the introduction of a regional branding system in new regions.

After the official part of the conference, a sales exhibition of certified products of three existing Georgian regional brands:Kakheti, Guria and Racha-Lechkhumi-Lower Svaneti, was held. More such beautiful and important projects with significant positive impact on regional development.

2024 წლის 27 თებერვალს ქ.ქუთაისში გაიმართა ვიშეგრადის საერთაშორისო ფონდის ფინანსური მხარდაჭერით განხორციელებული პროექტის „რეგიონული ბრენდის გაფართოება რაჭისა და გურიის რეგიონებში“ დახურვის ცერემონია. 🎉

კონფერენცია ოფიციალურად გახსნა იმერეთის გუბერნატორმა, ბატონმა ზვიად შალამბერიძემ. იგი გულთბილად მიესალმა დამსწრე საზოაგდოებას და გამოხატა საკუთარი ენთუზიაზმი და მხარდაჭერა პროექტისა და მისი შედეგების მიმართ. მან ასევე გამოთქვა სურვილი, რომ რეგიონული ბრენდირების პროცესი იმერეთშიც განხორციელდეს. ღონისძიებაზე სიტყვით გამოვიდნენ და პროექტის მიმართ მხარდაჭერა გამოხატეს სლოვაკეთის რესპუბლიკის ელჩმა ბ-ნმა მატუშ ბუშოვსკიმ და საქართველოში პოლონეთის საელჩოს სახელით ბ-ნმა პჟემილავმა.

კონფერენციაზე ასევე წარმოდგენილი იყო პროექტის ფარგლებში დაფუძნებული ა(ა)იპ „საქართველოს რგეიონული ბრენდების ასოციაციის“ როლი, ფუნქციები და ვებ-გვერდი https://www.georgianuniques.ge/. ასოციაცია შეიქმნა უკვე არსებული რეგიონული ბრენდებისa და ახალ რეგიონებში რეგიონული ბრენდირების სისტემი დანერგვის მხარდასაჭერად.

კონფერენციი პროგრამის კულმინაცია იყო რეგიონული ბრენდის გურიის რეგიონული ბრენდის - „სიცოცხლის სამოსახლო“ და რაჭა-ლეჩხუმი-ქვემო სვანეთის რეგიონალური ბრენდის - „შეგვხვდი მთის კოლხეთში“ პირველი წარმომადგენლების ოფიციალური გაცნობა და სერტიფიკატების გადაცემა.

კონფერენციის ოფიციალური ნაწილის შემდეგ მოეწყო უკვე დაფუძნებული სამი ქართული რეგიონული ბრენდის: კახეთის, გურიისა და რაჭა-ლეჩხუმ-ქვემო სვანეთის სერტიფიცირებული პროდუქციის გამოფენა-გაყიდვა. კიდევ უფრო მეტი ასეთი ლამაზი და მნიშვნელოვანი პროექტები, რომლებიც მნიშვნელოვან პოზიტიურ გავლენას ახდენენ რეგიონულ განვითარებაზე.

SlovakAid project – training 1.3 in October 2023

As part of this project "Supporting tourism through the creation of a complex tourist product in the microzones of Tvishi and Khvanchkara", together with project partners Regional Development Agency Senec-Pezinok,Slovakia and Georgian Ecoturism Association, we have already implemented the 3rd training in a row.

This 3-day training was focused on the marking of educational trails and their maintenance. The participants of the training were mainly representatives of the involved municipalities, under which the created products of the green CR will fall.

Monitoring by the donor also took place during this training. In addition to the training itself, they had the opportunity to talk with the entrepreneurs involved, to see the area where the trail is designed, as well as to meet representatives of Ambrolauri, where the training took place on October 24-26, 2023.

The project is not finished and the information about the next activities will be shared through social media and the website of the Slovakia-Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

The project is financially supported by the SlovakAid program.

პროექტის -"ტურიზმის ხელშეწყობა ტვიშისა და ხვანჭკარას მიკროზონებში კომპლექსური ტურისტული პროდუქტის შექმნის გზით" ფარგლებში, პროექტის პარტნიორებთან: რეგიონული განვითარების სააგენტო სენეც-პეზინოკთან, სლოვაკეთი და საქართველოს ეკოტურიზმის ასოციაციასთან ერთად, განვახორციელეთ რიგით მე-3 ტრენინგი.

3 დღიანი ტრენინგი ორიენტირებული იყო ეკოტურისტული ბილიკების მარკირებისა და მათ მოვლის საკითხებზე. ტრენინგის მონაწილეები იყვნენ პროექტში ჩართული, ამბროლაურისა და ცაგერის მუნიციპალიტეტების წარმომადგენლები. 

ტრენინგის პარალელურად დონორმა განახორციელა მონიტორინგი. ტრენინგზე დასწრების გარდა, მათ საშუალება მიეცათ გასაუბრებოდნენ პროექტში ჩართულ მეწარმეებს, დაეთვალიერებინათ ტერიტორია, რომელზეც დაპროექტებულია ბილიკი, ასევე შეხვდნენ რაჭა-ლეჩხუმ-ქვემო სვანეთის გუბერნატორსა და ამბროლაურის მერს, სახელმწიფო რწმუნებულის აპარატისა და ამბროლაურის მერიის წარმომადგენლებს. ტრენინგი ჩატარდა 2023 წლის 24-26 ოქტომბერს.

პროექტი არ დასრულებულია და მომდევნო აქტიობების შესახებ ინფორმაცია კვლავ გაზიარდება სოციალური მედიითა და სლოვაკეთი-საქართველოს სავაჭრო პალატის ვებ-გვერდით.

Kick off meetings of a new SlovakAid project: "Promoting green tourism by creation of a complex tourism product in Tvishi and Khvanchkara micro zones"

In the municipalities of Ambrolauri and Tsageri a kick-off meeting was held on September 14 and 15, 2022. The purpose of the meeting was to provide information about the project – "Promoting Green Tourism by Creation of a Complex Tourism Product in Tvishi and Khvanchkara micro zones", with the financial support of SlovakAid to representatives of local self-government, entrepreneurs, youth, tourist information centers and the civil sector.

At the meeting, the project partners introduced their organizations to the participants and shared detailed information about the goals, results and planned activities of the project.

The project duration is 24 months: September 2022 – July 2024.

The project partners are: RDA Senec Pezinok - Slovak Republic; Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce - Georgia; Georgian Ecotourism Association - Georgia.

ამბროლაურის და ცაგერის მუნიციპალიტეტებში 2022 წლის 14-15 სექტემბერს გაიმართა გაცნობითი-საინფორმაციო შეხვედრა. შეხვედრის მიზანი, ადგილობრივი თვითმმართველობის წარმომადგენლებისთვის, მეწარმეების, ახალგაზრდობის, ტურისტული საინფორმაციო ცენტრებისა და სამოქალაქო სექტორის წარმომადგენლებისთვის, SlovakAid-ის ფინანსური მხარდაჭერით დაწყებული  პროექტის– „მწვანე ტურიზმის ხელშეწყობა ტვიშისა და ხვანჭკარას მიკროზონებში კომპლექსური ტურისტული პროდუქტის შექმნით” შესახებ ინფორმაციის მიწოდება იყო.

შეხვედრაზე პროექტის პარტნიორებმა მონაწილეებს გააცნეს საკუთარი ორგანიზაციები  და დამსწრე საზოგადოებას გაუზიარესდეტალური ინფორმაცია  პროექტის მიზნებს, შედეგებს და დაგეგმილი აქტივობების შესახებ.
პროექტის ხანგრძლივობაა 24 თვე: 2022 წლის სექტემბერი – 2024 წლის ივლისი.

SGCC participation at the event organized by EUGBC: signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between EUGBC and the Caspian Energy Club

On May 20, 2022, Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce participated in an event organized by the EUGBC: signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between EUGBC and the Caspian Energy Club, as well as bilateral meetings (B2B platform) between Azerbaijani and Georgian companies. Approximately 50 companies from the Georgian and Azerbaijani sides took part in the event. The purpose of the meeting was to establish business ties between the parties and find ways for future cooperation.

"Private-Public Partnership for Local Economy, Labor Market and Education Opportunities Development" trainings led by SGCC in Tskaltubo and Kutaisi municipality

On May 18-19, 2022, with the organization and support of the Georgian Employers' Association, an expert from the Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce conducted training in Tskaltubo and Kutaisi Municipality. The topic of the training was "Private-Public Partnership for Local Economy, Labor Market and Education Opportunities Development". Representatives of Tskaltubo, Khoni, Samtredia and Vani local self-governments, business and civil sector participated in the training is Tskaltubo. Representatives of Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Terjola and Bagdati local self-governments, business and civil sector participated in the training is Kutaisi.

2022 წლის 18-19 მაისს საქართველოს დამსაქმებელთა ასოციაციის ორგანიზებითა და მხარდაჭერით, სლოვაკეთი-საქართველოს სავაჭრო პალატის ექსპერტმა ტრენინგი ჩაატარა წყალტუბოსა და ქუთაისის მუნიციპალიტეტებში. ტრენინგის თემა იყო „კერძო-საჯარო პარტნიორობა ლოკალური ეკონომიკის, შრომის ბაზრისა და განათლების შესაძლებლობებს განვითარებისათვის“. ტრენინგში მონაწილეობა მიიღეს წყალტუბოში - წყალტუბოს, სამტრედიის, ხონისა და ვანის, ხოლო ქუთაისში - ქუთაისის, ზესტაფონის, თერჯოლისა და ბაღდათის ადგილობრივი თვიმმართველობების, ბიზნესისა და სამოქალაქო სექტორის წარმომადგენლებმა.

SGCC in cooperation with GEA have started delivering trainings on "Private-Public Partnership for Local Economy, Labor Market and Education Opportunities Development".

On May 5, 2022, with the organization and support of the Georgian Employers'Association, an expert from the Slovak-Georgia Chamber of Commerce conducted training in Sachkhere Municipality. The topic of the training was "Private-Public Partnership for Local Economy, Labor Market and Education Opportunities Development". Representatives of Sachkhere, Chiatura and Kharagauli local self-governments, business and civil sector participated in the training.

Closing conference of the Visegrad Fund Project in Telavi, Georgia

On 25th of February, in Telavi, closing conference of the project “Enhancing  the Rural Economy through Regional Branding in Kakheti, Georgia” funded by the Visegrad Fund was held. The measure was attended by the representatives of the Slovak, Czech and Hungarian Embassies, the representatives of the local governance, the agencies operating in the region, the local entrepreneurs, local and international partners of the project. The detailed information about the project implementation was presented to the attendees. Within the framework of the project 19 local entrepreneurs received the certificates of the Regional Brand – “Experience Kakheti”. They were presented with the advertising material and the prizes as well. At the end of the conference the exhibition and fair of the products of the certified entrepreneurs were organized. The project team extends thanks to the Embassies of the Slovak, Embassy of the Czech Republic and Hungary, as well as to the  State Representative’s Administration in Kakheti Region, local self-governances, Rural Development Agency in Kakheti Region, National Food Agency in Kakheti Region, DMO - "Visit Kakheti  and Department of Environmental Supervision for their active support of the project. The Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce extends thanks to the international and local partners Regionálna rozvojová agentúra Senec-Pezinok, Rába-Duna-Vág EGTC, Regional Brand Association and KRDF. In addition the team thanks for provision of excellent services and the atmosphere to the Hotel Zuzumbo Resort & Spa. The Kakheti Regional Brand – “Experience Kakheti” continues its work for further development and cooperation with all interested parties.

Development of the catalogue of certified products from Kakheti region

Within the framework of the project "Enhancing Rural Economy through Regional Branding, Kakheti, Georgia" funded by the International Visegrad Foundation, a bilingual catalogue of the first brands - certified products / services was created.
The catalogue includes 27 products of 19 entrepreneurs including works made with authentic and traditional handicraft technologies. There depict the unique nature and tourism potential of each municipality.
Interestingly, there are also stories related to the start-up of certified entrepreneurs.
In addition to comprehensive information, the reader is able to discover completely new and distinctive products / services that are unconditionally related to the specifics of the region and their belonging to the region is guaranteed.

ვიშეგრადის საერთაშორისო ფონდის მიერ დაფინანსებული პროექტის „სოფლად ეკონომიკის გაძლიერება რეგიონული ბრენდირების გზით, კახეთი საქართველო“ ფარგლებში,  შეიქმნა პირველი ბრენდების - სერტიფიცირებული პროდუქტების/მომსახურებების ორენოვანი კატალოგი.
კატალოგში აღეწილია 19 მეწარმის 27 პროდუქტი, მათ შორის ავთენტური და ტრადიციული  ხალხური რეწვის ტექნოლოგიებით შესრულებული ნამუშევრები, დახასიათებულია სათითაო მუნიციპალიტეტის უნიკალური ბუნება და ტურისტული პოტენციალი. 
საინტერესოა, ის ისტორიებიც, რომელიც სერტიფიცირებული მეწარმეების სამეწარმეო საქმიანობის დაწყებას უკავშირდება.
გარდა ამომწურავი ინფორმაციისა, მკითხველს საშუალება ეძლევა აღმოაჩინოს სრულიად ახალი  და გამორჩეული პროდუქტები/სერვისები, რომლებიც უპირობოდ უკავშირდება რეგიონის სპეციფიურობას და მათი რეგიონისადმი კუთვნილება გარანტირებულია.

Meeting with Visegrad’s beneficiaries on GEA’s (the Georgian Employers' Association) premises

On December 24, 2021, the Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce (SGCC) and the Georgian Employers' Association (GEA) held a meeting between representatives of large businesses and beneficiaries of the project – “Strengthening the Rural Economy through Regional Branding, Kakheti, Georgia”. The project is funded by the Visegrad International Foundation. The purpose of the meeting was to present the products of the entrepreneurs who are potential owners of the Regional Brand - "Experience Kakheti" trademark to large businesses, which can become customers of the products.

On the meeting the SGCC presented about the project and its beneficiaries. The official part was followed by tasting of food and drinks produced by the project beneficiaries. They offered to the guests different types of wine, honey, Churchkhela, different types of cheese, curd, dessert, forest Jonjoli, Pankisi Halva and walnuts for tasting.

2021 წლის 24 დეკემბერს სლოვაკეთი-საქართველოს სავაჭრო სამრეწველო პალატისა და საქართველოს დამსაქმებელთა ასოციაციის ერთობლივი ძალისხმევით, გაიმართა შეხვედრა მსხვილი ბიზნესის წარმომადგენლებსა და პროექტის - „სოფლად ეკონომიკის გაძლიერება რეგიონული ბრენდირების გზით, კახეთი, საქართველო“ ბენეფიციარებს შორის. პროექტი დაფინანსებულია ვიშეგრადის საერთაშორისო ფონდის მიერ. შეხვედრის მიზანი იყო რეგიონული ბრენდის - „შეიგრძენი კახეთი“ სავაჭრო ნიშნის პოტენციური მფლობელი მეწარმეების პროდუქციის წარდგენა მსხვილი ბიზნესისთვის, რომელიც შეიძლება გახდეს პროდუქციის მომხმარებელი.

შეხვედრაზე მოწვეულ სტუმრებს მიეწოდათ დეტალური ინფორმაცია პროექტისა და მისი ბენეფიციარების  შესახებ რის შემდეგაც გაიმართა პროდუქციის დეგუსტაცია. სადეგუსტაციოდ წარმოდგენილი იყო: სხვადასხვა სახეობის ღვინო, თაფლი, ჩურჩხელა, სხვადასხვა სახეობის ყველი, ნადუღი, ნადუღის დესერტი, ტყის ჯონჯოლი, პანკისური ჰალვა, ნიგოზი.

Visiting local entrepreneurs from Kakheti region, November 22-29

Within the framework of the Visegrad project "Strengthening the Rural Economy through Regional Branding", the Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce (SGCC) and Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF) visited 8 municipalities in Kakheti region on November 22-29. The purpose of the visit was to study the potential applicants for the brand award, fill in the application forms and collect materials for catalogue development about the first brands. 
The visit was managed with 20 small entrepreneurs.

ვიშეგრადის პროექტის " სოფლად ეკონომიკის გაძლიერება რეგიონული ბრენდირების გზით" ფარგლებში 22-29 ოქტომბერს სლოვაკეთი-საქართველოს სავაჭრო სამრეწველო პალატამ  (SGCC) და კახეთის რეგიონული განვითარების ფონდმა (KRDF) განახორციელა ვიზიტის კახეთის 8 მუნიციპალიტეტში. ვიზიტის მიზანი იყო ბრენდის სამარკო ნიშნის მინიჭებისათვის პოტენციური განმცხადებლების ადგილზე შესწავლა, სააპლიკაციო განაცხადების ფორმების შევსება და პირველი ბრენდების შესახებ კატალოგის მასალების შეგროვება.
ვიზიტი განხორციელდა 20 მცირე მეწარმესთან.

18th of October 2021, Georgia-Slovakia Business Forum in Tbilisi

On October 18, Georgia-Slovakia Business Forum was held in Tbilisi. The event was attended by about 50 Georgian and 20 Slovak business entities. The measure was organized within the framework of the visit of Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Ivan Korcok to Tbilisi, Georgia. The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mrs. Natia Turnava participated in the forum.

On the forum, the representatives of the Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce held bilateral meetings with the Slovak business people, introduced the work of the Chamber and discussed the possibilities of the future cooperation.

The business forum was organized by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Georgia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Georgia.

18 ოქტომბერს, თბილისში, საქართველოს-სლოვაკეთის ბიზნეს ფორუმი ჩატარდა. მასში 50-მდე ქართულმა და 20-მდე სლოვაკურმა კომპანიამ მიიღო მონაწილეობა. ღონისძიება საქართველოში სლოვაკეთის რესპუბლიკის საგარეო და ევროპულ საქმეთა მინისტრის, ბატონი ივან კორჩოკის ვიზიტის ფარგლებში გაიმართა. ბიზნეს ფორუმში მონაწილეობა მიიღო საქართველოს ეკონომიკისა და მდგრადი განვითარების მინისტრმა, ქალბატონმა ნათია თურნავამ.
ფორუმის ფარგლებში სლოვაკეთი - საქართველოს სავაჭრო სამრეწველო პალატის წარმომადგენლები სლოვაკ ბიზნესმენებს შეხვდნენ, გააცნეს პალატის საქმიანობა და ისაუბრეს თანამშრომლობის შესაძლებლობებზე.
ღონისძიება საქართველოში სლოვაკეთის საელჩოსა და საქართველოს სავაჭრო სამრეწველო პალატის ორგანიზებით გაიმართა.

First meeting of the Certification Committee within the Visegrad project - Strengthening of Rural Economy Through Regional Branding

On September 28, 2021, the non-entrepreneurial (non-profit) legal entity Kakheti Regional Brand – “Experience Kakheti” was established within the framework of the project “Strengthening of Rural Economy Through Regional Branding”. On October 11, 2021, the first working session of the Certification Committee with the participation of the founding board members and the regional working group members was held in Telavi.

During the session, 17 members of the Certification Committee were elected, the participants acquainted with the opinions of the marketing expert related to the main aspects of the marketing strategy of the Kakheti Regional Brand and assessed shortlisted candidates of the competition for creation of a logo of the Kakheti Regional Brand – “Experience Kakheti”.

The committee members unilaterally supported the nominee of the Slovak – Georgian Chamber of Commerce for the post of the acting coordinator of brand.

სოფლად ეკონომიკის გაძლიერება რეგიონული ბრენდირების გზით“ პროექტის ფარგლებში 2021 წლის 28 სექტემბერს დაფუძნდა ა(ა)იპ კახეთის რეგიონული ბრენდი - „შეიგრძენი კახეთი“. დამფუძნებელთა საბჭოსა და რეგიონული სამუშაო ჯგუფის წვრების მონაწილეობით 11ოქტომბერს ქ. თელავში გაიმართა სამუშაო შეხვედრა - სასერტიფიკატო კომისიის პირველი სხდომა.

შეხვედრაზე არჩეული იქნა სასერტიფიკაციო კომისიის 17 წევრი, მონაწილეებმა მოისმინეს მარკეტინგის ექსპერტის მოსაზრებები კახეთის რეგიონული ბრენდის მარკეტინგული სტარტეგიის ძირითად მიმართულებებზე და შეაფასეს კახეთის რეგიონული ბრენდი - „შეიგრძენი კახეთი“-ს ლოგოს კონკურსის პირველი ეტაპის გამარჯვებული კანდიდატები.

ბრენდის კოორდინატორის მოვალეობის შესრულებაზე,  მონაწილეებმა ერთხმად დაუჭირეს მხარი სლოვაკეთი-საქართველოს სავაჭრო სამრეწველო პალატის კანდიდატურას.

Visegrad partners in Telavi, Georgia 

We spent two days (Thursday 5th to Friday 6th August 2021) organising an international workshop within our ongoing Visegrad project "Enhancing Rural Economy through Regional Branding" in Kakheti, Georgia. At the workshop, representatives of municipalities and regional organisations as well as local entrepreneurs from Kakheti region got extensive amount of information about Regional Branding and its benefits for the local economy. The workshop participants worked on the development of their own regional brand within the logo creation and set up of values and purposes of the brand.  

Thanks to International Visegrad Fund, Association of Regional Brands, Rába-Duna-Vág EGTC, Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce, Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF) and all participants who took part, came with questions and remarks. 

ვიშეგრადის პარტნიორები თელავში, საქართველო

ვიშეგრადის ფონდის პროექტის - „სოფლის ეკონომიკის გაძლიერება რეგიონალური ბრენდირების გზით კახეთში, საქართველო“, ფარგლებში, 2021 წლის 5-6 აგვისტოს, თელავში, გაიმართა საერთაშორისო სემინარი. სემინარზე თვითმმართველობებისა და რეგიონული სამსახურების წარმომადგენლებმა, ასევე კახეთის ადგილობრივმა მეწარმეებმა რეგიონული ბრენდირებისა და ადგილობრივი ეკონომიკის განვითარებისათვის მისი უპირატესობების შესახებ  მრავლისმომცველი ინფორმაცია მიიღეს. სემინარის მონაწილეებმა იმუშავეს საკუთარი რეგიონული ბრენდის განვითარებაზე: ლოგოტიპისა და ბრენდის ღირებულებებისა და მიზნების განსაზღვრაზე. 

მადლობას ვუხდით ვიშეგრადის საერთაშორისო ფონდს, რეგიონული ბრენდების ასოციაციას (ARB), Rába-Duna-Vág EGTC, სლოვაკეთი-საქართველოს სავაჭრო სამრეწველო პალატას, კახეთის რეგიონული განვითარების ფონდს  (KRDF) და ყველა მონაწილეს, სემინარში აქტიური ჩართულობისთვის.

Small Grant Scheme 2021 supported by SlovakAid grants 10 000 Euro to improve waste management in Khoni municipality in Imereti region

Khoni Municipality’s NPLE "Khoni Communal Service Center" in close cooperation with the Slovak-Georgian Chamber of Commerce within the framework of the Small Grants Program submitted a grant application - "Improving Waste Management in Khoni Municipality" to the Slovak Embassy in Georgia on May 31, 2021. The application won the competition and on July 20, 2021 an agreement was signed between the NPLE "Communal Service Center" of Khoni Municipality and the Slovak Embassy in Georgia. Within the support, NPLE "Communal Service Center" will receive grant in the amount of 10,000 Euro that will be used to provide infrastructure for the service and maintenance of garbage trucks in the municipality.

ხონის მუნიციპალიტეტის ააიპ „კომუნალური მომსახურების ცენტრმა, სლოვაკეთი-საქართველოს სავაჭრო პალატასთან მჭიდრო თანამშრომლობით 2021 წლის 31 მაისს სლოვაკეთის სალეჩოს მცირე გრანტების პროგრამის ფარგლებში წარუდგინა საგრანტო განაცხადი - „ნარჩენების მართვის გაუმჯობესება ხონის მუნიციპალიტეტში“.  განაცხადმა გაიმარჯვა კონკურსში და 2021 წლის 20 ივლისს ხონის მუნიციპალიტეტის ააიპ „კომუნალური მომსახურების ცენტრსა და საქართველოში სლოვაკეთის საელჩოს შორის გაფორმდა ხელშეკრულება. გრანტის ფარგლებში ხონის მუნიციპალიტეტი მიიღებს საგრანტო დაფინანსებას 10 000 ევროს ოდენობით, რაც მოხმარდება  ნაგავმზიდი მანქანების მომსახურებისა და მოვლისათვის  ინფრასტრუქტურის მოწყობას მუნიციპალიტეტში.
